"What's DLPC been doing for me? Lifesaving. They do all the sourcing of components. I just give them a list of the parts I need, and they get me the best sources for the best price.
Dealing with DLPC means I can reduce the time I need to spend sourcing components to zero so I can concentrate on other things. When I get stuck with production looming and don't have a part, DLPC can find the part I need or something similar.

"DLPC is always very good to deal with. We utilise services simply because it's convenient - I can say "I need something generically kind of like "this"" without having to have part numbers, and DLPC can provide manufacturers / parts that do what I needs.
The bottom line is that it's a great time saver. I could ring a dozen other individual suppliers for a component and cross-check them. It's a lot of work, and they don't call back if they can't source that particular thing. In contrast, if something can't be found DLPC will always give me alternatives. The other thing is that if you go through normal distributors / reps, you are faced with having to place huge order quantities or they're not interested, and DLPC helps us out in that respect as well.
